E nata IYCA – Italian Yacht Chefs Association

IYCA – Italian Yacht Chefs Association questa la denominazione per esteso.
L’associazione nasce con l’obiettivo di raccogliere, tutelare e valorizzare gli chef professionisti del mondo della nautica che per un inesistente scala di valorizzazione sia giuridica che artistica si ritrovano a cucinare piatti di primo livello per le persone più importanti al mondo senza alcun riconoscimento ufficiale.
In questa ottica l’associazione ritiene fondamentale l’interlocuzione con i soggetti pubblici e privati del mondo della nautica puntando sulla qualità della cucina italiana a servizio degli armatori.

Tra le prime iniziative possiamo segnalare la creazione del sito www.iyca.it un portale d’informazione sull’associazione ed il mondo della cucina dove è possibile conoscere gli chef associati, gli eventi ed i corsi organizzati, richiede informazioni e partecipare come sponsor per guadagnare visibilità agli occhi degli chef e non solo.

UN’OPPORTUNITÀ PER GLI CHEF ITALIANI
Fare parte dell’associazione garantirà allo Chef una garanzia in più agli occhi di chi deve reclutare un cuoco nel suo equipaggio. Ci saranno convenzioni particolari per partecipare a corsi di formazione, presentazioni di prodotti e tecnologie di cucina ed entrerà a far parte di una famiglia di professionisti dove poter condividere idee e progetti per il futuro.

UN’OPPORTUNITÀ PER ARMATORI, AGENZIE RECRUIMENTS E COMANDANTI
Quando si deve comporre un equipaggio per la propria imbarcazione o per l’imbarcazione dell’armatore non possiamo sbagliare, in cucina si deve puntare al meglio. Molte volte si è costretti per questioni di tempo a non poter scegliere come vorremmo.
Il database di cuochi selezionati da IYCA garantirà un ventaglio di professionisti mai trovato prima.

Con la pagina Facebook “IYCA – Italian Yacht Chefs Association” si è voluto mettere in contatto l’associazione con tutti gli interessati al mondo della cucina su yacht, futuri Yacht Chefs e semplicemente curiosi per la causa. Si potranno condividere un mare d’informazioni!

Concludono Graziano Ballerano ed Angelo Genova, presidente e vicepresidente di IYCA: la passione per il nostro lavoro ci ha portato a costituire questa associazione che siamo certi garantirà un futuro migliore agli Yacht Chefs di oggi e soprattutto di domani.

IT’S OFFICIAL “IYCA – Italian Yacht Chefs Association”
Founded in Viareggio, the new trade association that brings together Italian Chefs working on board of yachts and mega yachts around the world.

The association will unite and give value to professional chefs in the world of sailing that, to date, cook dishes for the most important people in the world without any official recognition like their land based colleagues. From this perspective, the association believes that they can improve the crucial dialogue between the public and private players of the nautical world by focusing on quality Italian cuisine for the yacht owners.

One of the first initiatives that we can present to you is the website,www.iyca.it, It is an information portal about the association and the world of the kitchen where you can learn about the chefs association, organized events and courses, information and how to participate as a sponsor to increase your visibility in the eyes of the yacht chefs and beyond.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ITALIAN CHEFS
Being part of the association will ensure the Chef an additional guarantee of exposure to those who must recruit a chef as part of the crew. There will be a special agreement of mandatory participation in training courses, new product presentations and cooking technologies, and the opportunity to become part of a family of professionals where you can share ideas and plans for the future.

AN OPPORTUNITY FOR OWNERS, AGENTS AND CAPTAIN RECRUITMENTS
When you must appoint crew for your boat, the captain or the boat owner cannot make a mistake and this is true especially in the kitchen where you have to aim much higher. Many times the process is rushed and we are not able to recruit who we wish.
The chefs selected from the IYCA database will provide a range of never found before professionals.
